At NTS we cover deliver traffic management across all sectors.
Many of our clients are utility companies working on miles of roads up and down the country. Their works vary across gas, electrical, water and communication networks.
Often these works are made possible thanks to traffic management companies like us. With years of experience delivering traffic management for utility companies, and with the right equipment and manpower, we offer the perfect combination to help your utility works run smoothly.
Our primary aim is to make the area safe around any utility project across UK towns, cities and villages. Whether it’s an isolated incident such as a burst water main, to a large scale operation laying miles of broadband cables, we have the resources you need. We’ve achieved our NHSS Sector Scheme 12A/B and 12D works, which means we have been approved to deliver traffic management on any type of road from motorway to residential street.
We install Heras fencing or barriers to separate works from lanes of traffic. Our operatives manually control traffic flow with Stop/Go systems during busy periods, or we install temporary traffic light systems if your works are taking place over a longer period. We put lane closures in place to guide motorists around your works. We install full road closures and diversions if required, giving you complete site control. All our traffic management is plotted on our CAD traffic management plans produced by our in-house design team.
We believe works run efficiently with good communication. We administer advance warning signage and letter drops to inform residents and businesses about your works so they are aware of any potential delays.
The traffic management schemes we can implement are endless. If you have a custom request we’d be happy to look at this for you.
Our comprehensive service gives utility customers total peace of mind their works can be completed smoothly and on schedule.
